With our first event kicking off in 2019, with an outrageous 80’s themed party, we all managed to raise $77,000! Two years later, we went all the way back to the 60’s, Woodstock style, raising over $130,000 for Starlight!

Startlight
and Decaid
Knowing there is more to treatment than medicine, since 1988 they’ve partnered with Australian health professionals to develop programs based on positive psychology principles that support the ‘total care’ of our children and teens.
DecAid was created to provide Perth’s Gen X & Y community with a milestone charity event, showcasing the best entertainment, food and drink, and a styled venue to simply HAVE FUN and dance the night away. At the same time, you’ll learn a little more about the amazing work that Starlight does, and contribute to the programmes that make a huge difference to the lives of kids who really need our support.

These Gold Packages represent great value for any business looking to support Starlight Children’s Foundation, and their own staff at the same time. This package provides for a Starlight Wish, which is an incredible gift of hope during the toughest of times, and is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a seriously ill child and their family.

Granting the wishes of seriously ill children lies at the heart of Starlight’s mission. From the moment a child is told their Starlight Wish is to be granted, the excitement begins. Dreaming, planning and talking about the wish is a great distraction from treatment and surgery. It’s the light at the end of the tunnel that lifts spirits and brings families together.
Our goal is to fund 10 wishes for Starlight through DecAid, either leading up to the event, or on the night. Can you help us achieve our goal?
Value of $2,000 – $5,000
DecAid is looking for one high value item to raffle on the evening. Aside from the five live auction items, this will be the only raffle of the evening.

We need your auction items to make DecAid truly valuable to Starlight and the children they support! This will be the only auction on the night with only five items in total (there will be no silent auction during DecAid).
Can you help by donating one of five high end auction items that will be auctioned on the evening to raise much needed funds for Starlight? These items can be material products or experiences – either for individuals or groups.
We are looking for your support to maximise the contribution we can make to Starlight from this important event. Can you, or your business, support with products or services which will lower our costs and, in turn, generate maximum funds which will flow directly through to Starlight Childrens Foundation? If your business sees its target market as connected and engaged 25-50 year old’s, then being involved with DecAid may be one of your best marketing strategies of 2023!
